Eier tütschen
A special Swiss tradition.
Happy Easter!!!
First you and an opponent each take a hard-boiled egg. Each person holds the egg -pointy side to pointy side, round side to round side- and hit them together. The egg that brakes is the loser. You can use the other side and try it again or find another opponent.
Then, of course, you eat the egg!

Dear Illya,
Nice to hear about the old Swiss tradition like Russian one - breaking eggs. I've remembered it since my childhood, when I lived in Siberia. We always used to play it on Easter. So, it's amazing yours and Russian traditions are similar.
Happy Easter to you and your family!

I played the same game (we called it "egg wars") and I learned how to play "Eier tütschen" (auf Deutsch) from Carpatho-Rusyns!
I made both pysanky and krapanky, by the way, but of course I used only krashanky for the "egg wars"!
See "Types of decorated eggs" at this link.

Greeks have the same tradition of trying to break one another's red-dyed eggs!
